I am a photographer on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida. I am thrilled to be back in the sunshine of my home state after several military moves with my husband. Living in California, Texas, and Washington within the last few years has given me rich material to explore photographically; as the landscapes have changed so have my thoughts on what it means to be at home.

In all of my projects, I approach image-making with an eye for life's small details. I especially enjoy working with film and always return to my trusty 4 x 5 field camera.

I first studied creative writing at Florida State University, and then went on to receive an MFA in photography at the University of Memphis. I am currently expanding my Journal Portrait project, in which I create photographs based on entries from found journals.
